Intention: After-Pregnancy Herbal Tea; Nursing Mothers; tones uterus muscles, and supports healthy lactation

This delicious caffeine-free herbal tea (tisane) was created for new and/or nursing mothers. Yes, we know nursing mamas feel like moo moo cows sometimes, which can be exhausting, but we're here to help! The herbs included in Mama Moo are very nutritious to both mother and baby (such as Nettles, Echinacea, Dandelion, Rose Hips). Pregnancy can take a lot out of a mother and she needs help to build back her own strength, while trying to also create milk for her baby. Herbs such as Raspberry leaf, Fennel and Fenugreek may help increase lactation as well.

Ingredients: Nettles, Echinacea, Chamomile, Dandelion Root, Marshmallow Root, Raspberry Leaf, Ginger, Rose Hips, Fennel, Fenugreek, and Elderberries.

Why We Included These Ingredients:

Nettles - alterative, very nutritious (proteins, minerals and iron), antiseptic, galactagogue (increases secretion or nutritional quality of breast milk), antihistamines, tonic
Echinacea - lymphatic (helps with lymph flow), alterative (blood purifier) antiseptic, antiviral, immune stimulant
Chamomile - calming, gastric anti-inflammatory, aromatic, anti-spasmodic, nervine, digestive tonic
Dandelion Root - diuretic (increases urine production and elimination), digestive tonic, bitter, hepatic (aids liver function),
Marshmallow Root - demulcent, emollient (soothes and softens tissue), anti-inflammatory (reduces inflammatory response of tissues, soothes), nutritive
Raspberry Leaf - tones the uterus, vitamins C, A, iron and minerals, tones stomach and intestinal lining, supports mucous membranes
Ginger Root - aromatic, carminative, digestive tonic and circulatory stimulant
Rose Hips -rich in vitamin C and bioflavonoids, antibacterial, mild astringent
Fennel - aid digestion, soothes respiratory and digestive tract, stimulates the uterus to contract (great for natural childbirth recovery)
Fenugreek - sweet, helps to enrich breast milk, helps to balance blood sugar
Elderberries - high vitamin C and flavonoids, diaphoretic (promotes perspiration and waste removal from skin), antiviral, congestion remover

Use: Mix contents of bag to ensure contents have not settled. Using a reusable tea bag or a strainer in a cup, add about two teaspoons of our herbal blend with eight ounces of hot (not boiling) water. Infuse for about 3-5 minutes, and then strain out the herbs. Repeat as needed. Breathe, and enjoy that baby!
