Intention: Cold Season Elixir is a blend of alterative and adaptogenic herbs preserved in bourbon whiskey and honey. You can take by dropper-full to mouth, or add drops to tea or water.

Adaptogens are herbs that help your body deal with stress, which would allow your immune system to focus on defending against germs. Bourbon Whiskey -

used to extract alkaloids, terpenes, and resins and acts as a disinfectant and preservative. Plus, it's tasty!
Honey - anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial, promotes wound healing, nutritive
Astragalus - adaptogenic herb used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for strengthening immunity, heart healthy, antibacterial and antiviral, respiratory infections
Licorice root - mucosal anti-inflammatory, adaptogen (increases resistance to stress), antitussive (reduces coughing), demulcent (rich in mucilage, sooth irritated tissue)
Reishi Mushroom - Positively affects white blood cells (fight infection) and immune system; Adaptogenic properties (helps with stress); May increase good HDL cholesterol levels and lower triglycerides. "Three Treasures" herb in TCM: Reishi harmonizes jing (life force), qi (energy), and shen (spirit).
Rhodiola rosea - a

daptogenic herb that stimulates blood flow, is used for stress, and mental or physical fatigue (restores qi), and helps to clear the lungs
Eleuthero root - stimulating adaptogen, enhances endurance, immune amphoteric, anti-rheumatic
Aswagandha - Adaptogen, anti-inflammatory, helps to reduce cortisol levels and stress
Oregon Grape root - antimicrobial, lymphatic and blood cleaning, antiseptic

Use: Gently shake tincture bottle a few times before using. Ensuring that the dropper does not touch your mouth, apply half dropper of tincture to your tongue. Or add half dropper of tincture to water if you prefer. Take 1-3 times per day when needed. Store tincture bottle in a cool dark place. Good for 3-5 years.
